Camp forms are due on Friday. All students need to return this form as we need to know how many students plan to attend. We are in need of more chaperones for the trip, especially dads. Please let us know if you are able spend part of your week with us. We always have a great time. Background check forms were sent home to those that have already volunteered. Please return those as soon as possible. Please plan to attend the camp meeting on April 11.
March is Reading Month
Our class will attend the book fair for purchases this Friday, March 9th. Dress up days for our Olympic theme are:
March 9 Winter Wonderland - dress in all white or off white
March 16 Winter Gear - Hats, scarfs, etc.
March 23 Team Country - wear red for Canada
On Thursday students received a page to record reading minutes for the week. We will earn medals based on our reading progress.
Reading
Over the next month we will be using materials for a potential new reading curriculum. We will share our observations with the Curriculum Cabinet for review at the end of the month.
Donations
We have run out of Kleenex for the classroom and would greatly appreciate donations.
Progress Reports
Progress Reports for Language Arts and Social studies along with graded work will be sent home on Monday. Please be sure to encourage your child to take care of missing assignments as soon as possible.
